DogWatch® Batteries will last up to 2 years, 1 year or 6 months depending on collar you choose. There is No need to charge the collar and it will not be drained when you need it most. Average battery cost for a Dogwatch collar is around $10.00 per year. Imagine if you didn’t have to charge your cell phone for 2 years and it cost $20 for a new battery?
Warranty
SpotOn™ offers a no-hassle 45-day satisfaction guarantee and a 1-year non-transferable product warranty.
All defects which arise from faults in material or functionality are covered under the warranty. The warranty does not cover dog-induced damage, extreme acts of nature such as a lightning strike or damages caused by accident, abuse, or misuse. .
DogWatch® offers a 30 day satisfaction guarantee and a LIFETIME Warranty on all hardware (including dog dog-induced damage and Lightning strikes). Damages caused by accident, abuse, or misuse are not covered.
Property Size
SpotOn™ works best for properties ½ acre or larger. As with any GPS product, accuracy can vary up to 10 feet, so you’ll need to incorporate a 15-foot buffer zone from the outside of your boundary to any unsafe areas. It’s also important to plan your fence to be at least 80 feet wide at its narrowest point. If you don’t have 1/2 acre, we recommend you have at least 80 feet in one direction to create your fence. GPS signals can “bounce” off structures creating larger variance in the boundary so you’ll need some open space.
DogWatch® does not have any accuracy issues. Our signal never moves and is consistent (no buffer needed that will confuse your dog). We can do a 1/3rd of an acre or 100 acres and the tone and correction is always in the same spot.
Fees
SpotOn™ Cellular service fee: 60 days of free access then $6.95/month
Cellular service is not required to create fences and contain your dog, but it is necessary if you want escape notifications or tracking.

Price
SpotOn™ $1495.00 per dog and 6.95 per month. If you add a dog or two add $1495 per dog (minus a 15% discount for multiple dogs).
DogWatch® system installed and guaranteed for life, on average range from $995-$2095 depending on unit you select and dealer.
Add a dog down the road, and you can add a collar for (average) $279-$379 depending on system.
